Who We Are
Vivatum is a Swiss-Swedish MedTech company dedicated to improving home-based peritoneal dialysis through intelligent technology, clinical insight and patient-centered design.
We develop connected solutions for Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) with the ambition to make home dialysis safer, more guided and more visible for patients, caregivers and clinical teams.
At the heart of our work is a simple conviction: home dialysis should not mean that patients are left alone. It should mean more freedom, better support and greater confidence in everyday therapy.
Why We Exist
Peritoneal dialysis gives patients the possibility to receive life-saving treatment at home. Yet the reality of home-based CAPD remains demanding. Patients are expected to perform repetitive therapy steps correctly, manage their treatment environment, monitor their condition and recognize warning signs, often outside the clinic’s direct supervision.
For clinical teams, the challenge is equally important. Relevant therapy information may only become visible during clinic visits or after complications have already developed.
